Events in Düsseldorf on Scottish Referendum and with British Ambassador

Dear members and friends of the Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft,

I hope you all have a great summer holiday. In August and September we have organized two events jointly with the BCCG (British Chamber of Commerce in Germany) to which you are invited.

In this email please find enclosed the invitation to the first event on the upcoming Scottish Referendum

on Monday, 25 August, from 18:30 at the Industrie-Club, Elberfelder Str. 6, 40213 Düsseldorf (NOT at the Goethe-Museum!).

Also, please save-the-date for the second joint event, a lunchtime panel discussion on the “Prospects for Growth of the British and German Economies” with the British Ambassador Sir Simon McDonald and the Director-Generals of both the BDI and the CBI, Dr. Markus Kerber and John Cridland, at lunchtime from 12.30 on Friday, 5 September 2014 at the office of EY, Ernst & Young GmbH, Graf-Adolf-Platz 15, 40213 Düsseldorf. A separate invitation will follow soon.
