Thanks to Young Königswinter Alumni Klaus Jurgens we are happy to announce an exclusive event in London:
Confessions of a Recovering MP
With Nick de Bois, former Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union and former MP for Enfield North, successful book author
Date: Thursday 21 March 2019
Time: Arrivals from 5 pm; Keynote speech plus Q&A 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm; Networking amongst Alumni 6:30 pm until 8 pm
Venue: The Phene, 9 Phene Street, Chelsea, SW3 5NY, London
Please come for a rare off-the-record meeting opportunity with a leading British politician. Our guest will review his fascinating as well as challenging life as an MP and for sure shall give us some background insights into many aspects of modern British politics. As quite naturally Brexit may come up our speaker asked us to hold the event under the Chatham House Rule. However, he suggested to us that there is more to politics than Brexit.
The Phene is one of London’s busiest and trendiest venues yet offers a very special private Club Room for business meetings, too, in which the first part of our evening shall take place. Afterwards we may use the Downstairs Bar for networking where a seating area has been reserved for our alumni.
Please RSVP until Monday 18 March 2019 via firstname.lastname@example.org
