YKWA meet… European business on chances and challenges of the EU Green Deal
On Thursday, 29th April 2021, 18:00 – 19:30 Brussels time / 17:00 – 18:30 UK time
The EU Green Deal is among, if not the core political project of the European Commission under President Ursula von der Leyen. Achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and reducing emissions by at least 55% by 2030 will require significant overhauls of business sectors and companies, with chances and challenges side by side.
You are warmly invited to join our interactive discussion on this highly topical issue and with notable experts, among them Mitja Schulz, Head of VDA Brussels Office, as chair.
YKWA is fortunate to announce an introduction into the Green Deal by Stefanie Hiesinger, Member of Cabinet of the Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal – Frans Timmermans, European Commission.
You will then be able to dive into the perspective of a specific business sector:
- Finance with Kirsten Kunz, Global Head Trade Flow Product and Process Management, Deutsche Bank.
- Automotive with Kai Lücke, Senior Vice President Global External Affairs, ZF Friedrichshafen.
- Energy with Sebastian Veit, Senior Vice President Governmental Relations, Uniper.
We will move on to a joint discussion (please do bring a drink!) with lots of room for your questions and remarks.
If you wish to take part in the event, please register here by COP Wednesday, 28th April 2021. You will receive the access details shortly before the event.
