UK referendum on EU membership – voters’ registration

Regarding the upcoming referendum on the UK’s EU membership please see the notice by Sir Sebastian Wood, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Germany:

“Many UK expats in Germany may not be aware that it is possible to register as an overseas voter for UK Parliamentary General Elections, European Parliamentary elections – and indeed for the upcoming EU Referendum. It is now easier than ever to do so.

Please take the first step today and register on https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. It literally just takes a few minutes.

Of course Overseas Voter Registration Day is not the only time you can register. But it is the perfect opportunity to encourage your friends, family or colleagues to check if they can take part and to register from wherever they are in the world. Do register to make sure you will be able to have your say at the EU Referendum when it takes place.”
